Body Sculpting & Body Contouring

What is Body Contour ?

Body Contouring Via Lipo-Cavitation  or Ultrasonic cavitation is a non invasive body shaping alternative to surgical liposuction that uses ultrasonic waves to turn fat cells into free fatty acids, which are easier for the body to get rid of.

The midsection ( stomach), upper arms, thighs, hips, and chin area can be targeted with these low-frequency ultrasound waves, which penetrate the skin and create bubbles around fat deposits. The bubbles then burst, causing the body to get rid of them naturally through the urinary tract and lymphatic system. It is a great option to a tummy tuck for nonsurgical fat reduction.

How Does Body Contour Ultrasonic Cavitation Work?

Ultrasonic cavitation relies on ultrasound technology to break apart fat cells in the body.

Ultrasound waves are sent deep into the layers of your skin, causing a disruptive vibration. Fat cells then break apart from each other and are dislodged from your dermal layers.

After a few days, the fat cells are absorbed by your lymphatic system and drained as waste from your body. It is a great alternative to surgical liposuction.

Are there any side effects of Body Contouring With Cavitation and or Radio Frequency?

Body contouring treatments utilize Lipo-Ultrasonic Cavitation which is non invasive without surgery and it doesn’t require any incisions. This means recovery is easier for the patient. It also means that results might be less noticeable with these types of procedures.

                       Radio Frequency Skin Tightening

Turn back the aging clock with Radio Frequency Skin Tightening in Philadelphia. Tighten, lift and smooth problem areas on face and body with no discomfort, no surgery and no downtime!

The Radio Frequency procedure provides a safe, non-invasive way to smooth fine lines around the eyes and mouth, and lift the neck and jowls.  Skin tightening treatments can reduce crepey skin on the face, chest and arms and reduce cellulite and achieve overall improvement in skin tone and texture.

What is Radio Frequency?

Radio frequency treatments are a non-invasive skin tightening modality used to enhance and renew skin tone and texture by utilizing radio frequency energy to heat the dermis deep beneath your skin’s surface and tighten skin.

Without surgery, recovery time, or injections, radio frequency treatments are an ideal solution for your face, arms, abdomen, hips, glutes and other loose skin areas where lifting and tightening can be achieved. Non-surgical skin tightening can be utilized to reduce stretch marks, tighten flabby skin, cellulite and improve overall skin tone and texture.

How Does The Tightening Procedure Work?

During skin tightening dermis is slowly heated well below the skin’s surface which constricts collagen fibers, and stimulate the production of new collagen thus producing a tightening and lifting effect of the skin.

What Areas of the Body Respond Best to Radiofrequency Skin Tightening Treatments?

The most common areas treated with skin tightening are the jawline (Jowls), under the chin, arms, neck, bustline or decollete and cellulite prone areas such as thighs, hips and glutes.

Radio frequency skin tightening is also a part of our

Body Sculpting package for those who are seeking to lose inches of their waistline or hips etc.

How Often Should I Be Treated With Radio-Frequency to Get Good Results?

For optimal results from Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, it is recommended that the first 4 skin tightening treatments are spaced 1-2 weeks apart.

Who Can be Treated?

The skin tightening procedure heats tissue under the skin’s surface, so patients of any skin type or age who desire a non invasive alternative to surgery to improve lax skin, stretch marks and or cellulite can be treated to tighten skin.

Radio Frequency can also be done on individuals who may need Lipo-massage to help reduce swelling and minor inflammation after Lipo-suction on Butt , Thighs , Hips or after Fat injections done on Butt (Butt Lift).

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Although a single tightening treatment produces very good results for many patients, it is quite common for patients to have two or three treatments over a few months. Up to 6 may be needed depending on the area being treated. Stretch marks may require up to 6 or more treatments depending on the severity of skin. For optimal results we may customize this treatment with other collagen boosting treatments depending on your specific needs.

What Should You Expect Post Treatment?

Immediately following the skin tightening treatment, you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the treated area. Both should dissipate within a few hours after treatments. Sensitive skin types may feel slightly irritated for up to 36 hours after skin tightening. The collagen boosting effects will continue to develop months after the treatment.

BEFORE AND AFTER CELLULITE SKIN TIGHTENING

Cellulite Treatment and Body Cellulite Reduction

What Is Cellulite And What Causes It

Cellulite is that 'dimpled orange peel' skin in certain areas that does not disappear with diet and exercise. Cellulite is the result of changes in both the metabolism and the structure of the adipose (fat) tissue under the skin. The formation of cellulite is a gradual process caused by an upset in the delicate balance between the blood circulation, the fat cell metabolism and the lymphatic drainage. The cellulite process begins with a slight buildup of fluid in the tissues, which hampers the blood and lymph circulation and the removal of toxins. The fat cells are deprived of oxygen and waste removal; they swell in size and form clusters connected by collagen fibers creating cellulite on the skin. Decreased blood flow, decreased lipolysis (fat breakdown) in combination with toxins and fluids continue to accumulate in the skin and worsens the condition. The result is a buildup of areas of dimpled skin with poor skin tone known as cellulite.

Who Does Cellulite Affect

Most women will develop cellulite somewhere on their body. Genetics, age, hormones, and lifestyle all play a role in the development and appearance of cellulite. Genetics can predispose individuals to developing cellulite; gender, race, circulatory issues, fat distribution, and metabolism are all connected to cellulite development. Age and hormones also lend a hand in cellulite development.  As we age, we may have poorer circulation, a decrease in collagen production and the breakdown of connective tissue.

How To Prevent Cellulite

We can't control our genetics, but we can take charge of our lifestyle to prevent and minimize the appearance of cellulite. Below are a few ways to help the appearance of cellulite and prevent cellulite from forming or getting worse and needing treatment:

  • Stay Hydrated - Drinking plenty of water and eating foods with a high water content helps keep the body's connective tissue supple and strong.

  • A Healthy Diet - A well-balanced diet, rich low-fat foods such fruits, vegetables and fiber help maintain a healthy weight and supports healthy bodily functions.  Avoid too much sugar and salt. Sugar gets stored in fat cells causing them to expand, and sodium causes fluid retention - both worsen the appearance of cellulite.

  •

  • Exercise - Exercise is not a 'cure' for cellulite, but regular activity can help prevent and improve your skin's appearance. Exercise firms and tones muscles, boosts circulation, tightens the skin and burns fat. All of which can make cellulite less visible.

  •

  • Nonrestrictive Clothing - Tight clothing and restrictive underwear can block or limit the flow of blood, which can worsen cellulite. Try to wear comfortable fit clothing as often as possible

  •

  • Maintain A Healthy Weight - Women of all shapes and sizes can develop cellulite. For some, losing weight may help minimize the appearance of cellulite. The more fat underneath the skin, the more strain on the connective tissues which causes cellulite to bulge, and become more pronounced.

  •

  • Dry Brushing & Massage  -  Dry brushing and massage help stimulate blood circulation, and since restricted circulation can worsen cellulite, it can't hurt to give your body that extra help - plus it feels good!

  •

  • Quit Smoking  - Smoking causes a myriad of health issues, but it also weakens connective tissues by slowing blood flow and disrupting collagen production, allowing underlying fat to show more prominently.
